as a grassroots organization in Seattle to draw attention to the plight
of immigrant laborers in Western Washington. El Comité is a non-profit grassroots Latino organization, which struggles to achieve comprehensive immigration reform for all working immigrants and to fulfill the dream for social justice. The committee is made up of three sectors: nonprofit social justice organizations, labor unions and religious groups.
