Our Gender Justice Program builds regional capacity to organize for cultural and institutional change around gender oppression. Whether organizations are fighting for LGBT equality, funding to support the stability of families, or access to reproductive health care, the Gender Justice Program supports their efforts through training, organizational development and convening groups to share and learn from each other. Our three projects are the Family, Community and Sexuality Project, Capacity Building Project and Movement Building for Reproductive Justice. Together these strategies are networking organizations; increasing the capacity of organizations led-by and serving women of color, LGBTQ people of color and low-income women and families; and increasing engagement by the broader progressive movement in moving an explicit gender justice agenda.
