Our Gender Justice Program builds regional capacity to organize for cultural and institutional change around gender oppression. The Gender Justice Program specifically focuses on helping organizations address issues of LGBT equality, reproductive justice, and family security through training, organizational development and convening groups to share and learn from each other.
Our three projects are the Family, Community and Sexuality Project, Capacity Building Project and Movement Building for Reproductive Justice. Together these strategies are networking organizations; increasing the capacity of organizations led-by and serving women of color, LGBTQ people of color and low-income women and families; and increasing engagement by the broader progressive movement in moving an explicit gender justice agenda.
