of Nevada - The ACLU
of Nevada defends and advances the constitutional
and other legal rights of individuals and groups,
particularly when they are violated by government. |
| Friends
of Nevada Wilderness - Friends of Nevada
Wilderness is dedicated to preserving Nevada's wild
places from on-going threats, educating the public
on the value of wilderness,and improving the management
of wild areas. |

Basin Peace and Justice Network - The
Great Basin Peace and Justice Network is a portal
to northern Nevada groups and individuals participating
in peace and social justice activism. |
| Great
Basin Mine Watch - Great Basin Mine Watch
protects the region's land, water, and wildlife as
well as sustainable communities by mitigating the
impacts of hardrock mining, oil and gas development.
The organization serves its constituent communities
by collecting information, performing research and
educating the public, the media and politicians about
irresponsible hardrock mining and mining policies. |

Basin Primary Care Association - Members
of the Great Basin Primary Care Association have joined
together to improve the health status of Nevada's
medically underserved and indigent populations by
supporting and advocating on behalf of the community-based
health centers which provide accessible, quality,
comprehensive primary care services. |

Rights Campaign Nevada - Human Rights
Campaign Nevada works for lesbian, gay, bisexual and
transgender equal rights. |

Conservation League - The Nevada Conservation
League works to protect Nevada's natural resources
through public education, advocacy and the promotion
of sensible environmental policies. |

Women's Lobby - The Nevada Women's Lobby
(NWL) is a statewide non-partisan coalition of organizations,
women and men presenting a strong voice on issues
affecting women and families. |
| Progressive
Leadership Alliance of Nevada
- Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada
(PLAN) provides a vehicle in Nevada for building consensus
and collective strategies among progressives on a
range of issues including welfare, immigration, taxes,
environment, campaign finance reform, economic justice
and reproductive choice. Over 40 progressive organizations
in Nevada are members of PLAN. |

Indian Colony - The Reno-Sparks Indian
Colony is a federally recognized tribe that provides
services for its people, protects the sovereign rights
of Indian tribes, promotes economic development, and
preserves the culture and traditions of its members. |

Shoshone Defense Project
- Western Shoshone Defense Project affirms Newe (Western
Shoshone) jurisdiction over Newe Sogobia (Western
Shoshone homelands) by protecting, preserving, and
restoring Newe rights and lands for present and future
generations based on cultural and spiritual traditions. |
