is Oregon's largest grassroots civil rights organization
dedicated to ending discrimination based on sexual
orientation and gender identity. Founded in 1995,
BRO focuses on multi-year campaigns to shift public
consciousness, build political power and win policy
victories for GLBT equality in Oregon. |
Brother
to Brother - Brother to Brother is
creating a strong LGBTQ presence and voice in the
African-American community to confront systemic
injustices in our society. Their long-term goal
is to decrease the disparities in healthcare and
improve quality of life and the collective health
of the community. |

- CAUSA is a statewide grassroots coalition based
in the Latino community that defends and advances
the rights of immigrants in Oregon. They use a combination
of mobilization, strategic research, popular education,

LUS empowers youth to resist negative societal and

Love
Makes a Family - Love Makes A Family
was founded in 1992 and incorporated in 1993 when
a racially diverse group of sexual minorities in
Oregon and Southwest Washington came together to
oppose anti-gay Ballot Measure Nine. The mission
of Love Makes A Family is to work for social change:
to create a supportive environment within our communities
and to provide a public voice for all families,
especially those subjected to social, economic and
legal discrimination due to sexual orientation or
gender identity/expression. |

for Safety and Justice - Partnership
for Safety and Justice unites those most affected
by crime, violence, and the criminal justice system
(survivors of crime, people convicted of crime, and
the families of both) to advance approaches that redirect
policies and resources from an over-reliance on incarceration,
to effective strategies that reduce violence and recidivism,
and increase personal and community safety. |
PCUN
- Pineros y Campesinos Unidos del Noroeste (Northwest
Treeplanters and Farmworkers United), is Oregon's
union of farmworkers, nursery, and reforestation
workers, and Oregon's largest Latino organization.
PCUN's fundamental goal is to empower farmworkers
to understand and take action against systematic
exploitation and all of its effects. |

Central American Solidarity Committee
- Founded in 1979, the Portland Central America
Solidarity Committee educates and mobilizes students,
union members and community activists around struggles
for human rights and economic justice in Latin America
and Mexico. |
