Center is developing new political education tools
that help organizations break down stereotypical
patriarchal and racist notions of family, gender roles
and sexuality. Tools include handouts, film and video,
and other materials that can be utilized by
organizations interested in developing pro-active
gender justice strategies. |

- EMERJ (Expanding the Movement for Empowerment and Reproductive Justice) is a national collation that building a strong and vibrant movement for reproductive justice through developing tools, models and resources; research and analysis; and training and technical assistance.
- The Gender Public Advocacy Coalition (GenderPAC) works to end discrimination and violence caused by gender stereotypes by changing public attitudes, educating elected officials and expanding legal rights. GenderPAC also promotes understanding of the connection between discrimination based on gender stereotypes and sex, sexual orientation, age, race and class.
- Pro-Choice Public Education Project in a national organization educations young women about reproductive freedom and choice. In addition they do research and messaging work specific to the needs of young women of color.
- The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force - Founded in 1973, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Foundation (the Task Force) was the first national lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights and advocacy organization and remains the movement's leading voice for freedom, justice and equality.
- SisterSong: Women of Color Reproductive Health Collective mobilizes women of color through convenings, mentoring and self-help, sharing frameworks and organizing to affect change.
- Alliance
for Full Acceptance - A social
justice organization uniting gay, lesbian,
bisexual, transgender and heterosexuals to
eliminate prejudice based on sexual orientation.
Alliance for Full Acceptance has 300 members and
800 friends.
- Choice
USA - Mobilizes and provides ongoing
support to the diverse, upcoming generation of
leaders who promote and protect reproductive
choice both now and in the future.
- INCITE!
Women of Color Against Violence - A
national activist organization of radical
feminists of color advancing a movement to end
violence against women of color and their
communities through direct action, critical
dialogue and grassroots organizing.
- Indigenous
Women's Network - An organization
whose purpose is to increase the visibility of
Native Women and empower them to participate in
political, social and cultural processes while
working toward the betterment of Native women and
improving the conditions within communities.
