Kim Warnick

Culture Lab Director

Kim Warnick lives in sunny Long Beach after growing up in NH and spending a decade+ bouncing around northeastern cities. As the former Executive Director of a feminist movement-building nonprofit within the music industry, she designed and led multiple national advocacy campaigns, including #HereForTheMusic, the leading campaign to end sexual violence in the music industry, and Unlocked Voices, a partnership with the Multifaith Initiative to End Mass Incarceration focused on narrative change, fundraising, and grassroots support for system-impacted community leaders.

Kim brings her cultural organizing and violence prevention expertise to the Culture Lab Program Director role. She is a She Rocks Award recipient for her music industry leadership, has spoken at multiple conferences and festivals including the Event Safety Summit, Ticketfly, and Bonnaroo; and has had her work featured in Teen Vogue, Billboard, The Christian Science Monitor, My Favorite Murder Podcast, SiriusXM, EduPunx Podcast. Most importantly, her puppy Toast is an award-winning cute dog featured on a limited print of ugly Christmas sweaters (for humans).
