Common Good

Democracy needs united coalitions and leaders to resist division and act together against hate and bigotry.

Building Leaders for Strong, Resilient Movements

Common Good is a Western States Centers program that brings together multiracial civic, faith, and cultural leaders to examine how antisemitism and religious bigotry fuel white nationalism and bigoted movements—and repair the divides these forces have created in our organizations. The result is stronger, more resilient movements that can withstand division, reject bigoted narratives, and advance a future grounded in justice and collective power.

How We Work

Cut Through the Noise

We break down the threat that religious bigotries - like antisemitism and Islamophobia - pose to American society for leaders working to protect and expand our democracy.

Take the Lead

We equip leaders, organizations, and movements with skills and insights to lead with clarity and courage.

Act Together

We create space for building bridges and repairing relationships so that we can act powerfully together to protect democracy.
