Community members should be aware of potential threats from individuals who use social media and streaming platforms to create content that promotes bigotry and undermines democracy.

While propagandistic content creators often portray themselves as objective “journalists” or “fact finders,” in reality, they are attempting to create content that only serves their agenda.

Clips they take – often out of context, cut or framed in misleading and non-representative ways - are intended to travel across social media, television, and get the attention of powerful actors with whom they are aligned.
