Pro-democracy groups published an open letter today in The Seattle Times in support of the Spokane 3, three peaceful protesters recently convicted on federal conspiracy charges. These groups joined together to call out these abuses of the criminal system as an attempt to censor and silence the growing strength of pro-democracy voices. The letter comes as a federal judge considers motions to overturn their convictions.
